Annual Ornamental and Perennial Plant Sale
Sponsored by the Galveston County Master Gardeners

East End Garden Tour
Sponsored by Galveston’s  East End Historical District 

 

At first glance it may seem like these are conflicting events.
Not so.

The plant sale starts at 9:00 am on Saturday and ends at 1:00 pm. If previous experience is any indication – you better be at the sale and ready to shop by at least 8:30 OR you might as well stay home!!! That’s how quickly things sell out.

The Garden Tour is from 10 am – 4 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Plenty of time to visit all of the garden sites. We’ve often split it up – half on Saturday and half on Sunday.

Oh and don't forget - Saturday night is also Art Walk...

Recent rainfall and cooler temperatures make it a great time to get new plants established in the landscape. These conditions also mean that gardens on the tour will be looking great!
