We've had a pretty nice fall gardening season so far. Mild temperatures, occasional rain showers and few insect/disease pests. As a result, our garden is thriving. We've been enjoying the arugula, lettuce and radishes but on Saturday we had our first major broccoli harvest. OK - it might not be of commercial quality/size BUT we were pleased with the outcome AND it was the BEST broccoli we've ever eaten. At an estimated $10.00/head it better be!!!
We have already been planning our spring garden, as well as changes and modifications to the irrigation system, beds and other infrastructure. What's next - $20.00 tomatoes? Oh well, it's all about health, relaxation and FUN.
