April - Garden Bloggers Bloom Day

The 15th of every month garden writers throughout the blogosphere take part in this monthly event originated by May Dreams Gardens. It's an opportunity to observe and comment on what plants/flowers are thriving in gardens throughout the US and the world.

The weather this spring has been outstanding, with warm days, cool nights and frequent rainfall. The result has been one of the most floriferous April's in memory. Galveston - also known as the Oleander City, is in full bloom. But there are a number of other outstanding performers as well. Here's just a small sample of what's flowering.

Too many others to post. Hope yall are enjoying a great spring as well!!!

P.S. All of this pollen is killing my allergies but it's worth every sniffle...
